Synopsis of the novel Dick Larson a
hapless Liverpool detective is engaged by high society Mrs.
Loraine Larindale to play the part of Sherlock Holmes at her
murder mystery masquerade ball, trusting that he will solve
the murder for the guests, but his sexual and narcotic
(alcohol & Marijuana) addictions prove difficult to control. Dick returns to the party after smoking weed in his oversized Sherlock Holmes pipe and is amazed to witness his secretary Jessica being seduced by Mrs. Larindale in the bay window of the disco room. Once back inside and feeling far too high for polite society, Dick downs a couple of stiff rums to steady his nerves, he leads Jessica upstairs to the nearest bedroom, where she discards her Dr Watson costume and describes how wonderful it was to be with a woman for the first time. Jessica then satisfy’s herself on Dick’s face while kneeling on the arms of the chair before Mrs. Larindale joins them both.Later in the library, Dick gives his first appraisal of the murder, before having a dizzy spell in front of the assembled guests after smoking some more dope in his pipe. Tamara, Mrs. Larindale’s gorgeous bi-sexual Bulgarian girlfriend then treats him to a standing tantric experience.
